Notification of planned works - Tele2 Data and RADIUS Authentication

Scheduled for Apr 28, 19:00 - 20:00 BST

Scheduled

Pelion will be carrying out upgrade and maintenance work on 28/04/26 between 19:00 and 23:00 BST

During this time we will be performing essential upgrades and migrating Tele2 subscriber traffic to our new core routers.

This work is part of our continuing UK network upgrades programme, which is aimed at increasing overall capacity and reliability. This is one of the final steps in that process and will allow us to continue to deliver our high reliability, stability, and performance for your devices.

Location:
UK

Start Date and time:
28/04/26 19:00 BST

End Date and time:
28/04/26 23:00 BST

Services affected:
From the start of this maintenance window any new sessions will be redirected to our new high capacity authentication cluster. Existing sessions will slowly migrate to this service as they reconnect during normal function. We do not expect to see devices disconnect during the maintenance window.

This activity is considered low risk from a change perspective. However, as it involves underlying authentication and network changes, there is a slightly higher potential for impact if any issues arise. Based on similar previous activities, some devices may need to reconnect and may take longer than expected to fully recover service.

Customer action required:
We highly recommend monitoring your Tele2 SIMs over the coming days for successful re-attaches, if there are any issues with Tele2 SIMs from the 28th please raise a ticket to support@pelion.com and we will prioritise and escalate accordingly.
