Pelion engineering teams are beginning Service Impacting Maintenance from 18/03/2023 - 10:00 UTC.

Single Sited Manchester IPsec customers who have not been mitigated will experience impact.

If customers do experience impact, please contact Pelion Support via the normal channels for more information and assistance.

We will be carrying out essential maintenance between 16/03/2023 17:00 and 19/03/2023 23:59 UTC.

During this time, we will be performing planned maintenance at our Manchester datacenter.

This planned change is part of a wider activity to move core infrastructure services.

We are also taking this opportunity to upgrade our network infrastructure to increase capacity and resilience.

Some services may be at risk of disruption within the full change window; however, Pelion has taken all reasonable steps to mitigate any disruption.

Impact Start Date and time: 17/03/2023 17:00 UTC

End Date and time: 19/03/2023 23:59 UTC

Services affected: Manchester Datacenter; Single Sited Manchester IPsec customers.

Manchester Datacenter and Manchester Single Sited IPsec customers will be impacted from approx. 18/03/2023 08:00 GMT and Pelion has contacted affected customers directly.

Dual sited IPsec customers that have a London DC endpoint should be mitigated, however customers with a Manchester IPsec peer will be unreachable.


Unfortunately, due to the nature of the work, we cannot be specific about the exact times or length of the downtime/outage for individual single sited IPsec customers. Pelion have contacted affected customers directly.


Customer action required:

Customers are advised that if IPsec connections do not automatically reconnect at the end of the change window a restart of the IPsec may be required.
